Rick, do you know if the player, last name Tucker, that was named to the ‘53 All City football team, is an older brother to Curtis, Willie and Ken Tucker that competed in sports a few years later at Lincoln HS?
Thank you,
David Storm
That would be Horace Tucker. He is not related to Curtis or Kenny Tucker, with whom I attended Lincoln. I don’t know of a Willie Tucker. There also were Jimmy and Eddie Tucker of Lincoln. Hope this helps.
If you go to the website home page, go to the Search box. There is a photograph of the 1953 all-City offensive team in the obit on Dallas Evans and a photo in one of the narratives on 1953 with a photo of Horace Tucker.
